I'm also a university graduate so I can follow the words in the sentence but I don't know if the author ever reaches "that other place" in her trane of thought. I think that Bono himself would cringe at being called an American prophet and in the last sentence the author makes WAY too many assumptions about the B-man in an attempt to tie together a fairly loosely-written piece. I did like the title though.
