This week's featured song is a cover of Pride (In The Name Of Love) by Hapa, a group from Hawaii. The track is from their 1997 album, "In The Name Of Love", and can be bought from Amazon.com.
The album's linear notes has this to say about the song:
"Pride," a tribute to the Reverend Martin Luther King, Jr., was composed by the group U2 here in Honolulu. We wanted to bring it home. Special thanks to the Reverend Samuel B. Kyles of the Monumental Baptist Church, Memphis, Tennessee for allowing us to use an exerpt from a speech by Dr. King.

Here's Stephen's thoughts and comments regarding the cover:
It's got a beautiful island swing to it, with a chorus that sounds like vintage 1978 Fleetwood Mac. Interestingly enough, the disc was recorded in 1997. In 1997 U2 released Pop, and later that year while performing Please, Bono includes an Indian style chant during the outro. Listen to the Hawaiian chanting during the outro to the Hapa version! My theory: Hapa sent a copy of Pride to the band for their approval sometime in 1997 and Bono adopted the chanting and incorporated it during the tour!
