THE U2 WEBRING

In the spring of 1997, I was looking of a way to advertise my U2 Website. I went to The Webring to find out whether a U2 Webring existed. Since then the popularity of The U2 Webring has gone through the roof. There are now over 500 members of the U2 Webring across the Net.

I would like to thank all of the U2 Webmasters for making the Webring work. Special thanks to The WIRE U2 Mailing List, @U2, and U2 Dublin for their interest in the success of the U2 Webring.

The idea for this webring, the setting up of the webring was done solely by Jeff Chandler. He has put a huge amount of time and effort into this project which not only included the webring creation and the day-to-day running of it, but also time was spent in designing the original webpages and graphics which he had thankfully let me use. Jeff kindly asked me to take over the maintenance of this webring and so I hope that I can keep it going as well as he has done.

As of March 1999, the U2 Webring is being hosted by Interference.com. The site was given a fresh new look by Joel Tanner, which also designed the new U2 Webring logo.
